Flatiron Building, anyone?
Have you heard of the Flatiron Building in New York? Finished in 1902, the building gets its name from its triangular shape. This architectural style can be found in cities across the United States, from San Francisco to New York and many in between. Internationally, Flatiron Buildings can be seen in Spain, China, and Australia, to name a few.
Now, San Diego is getting a Flatiron Building downtown (see rendering above). You're probably not surprised to hear the developer of this building, Rodney Masri, demonstrates precisely why investing in real estate can make you a winner.
Mr. Masri purchased this building for his business in 2008 and has used it as a hub for various companies ever since. He now has big plans to turn it into a mixed-use Flatiron Building, including space for two businesses on the first floor and a 5-story residence above for Mr. Masri.
With an expected construction costs of $3M, the uniqueness of this building, and its excellent location in the heart of downtown San Diego, Mr. Masri's real estate investment strategy is impressive. He is a living example of what you can accomplish with the a robust real estate investment strategy.
